Within INDEBT STUDIO, a wall was removed collectively. It was harmoniously carried out of the underground, piece by piece, as well as violently torn down by machinery and traditional tools. As a result, a new physical and spiritual space emerged. In celebration of the new INDEBT STUDIO space, the first exhibition of the season is centered around community. We proudly present a group of artists closely connected to INDEBT STUDIO: long-time friends, who have their roots in different places all over the world. The practices of these artists offer widely different perspectives on the world surrounding them. The curation of the exhibition is not merely focused on the underlying content of the artworks—instead, it is found in the artists interconnectedness within the web of human connection. Significance is shifted from individuality to collectivity; value is placed on the preservation and the formation of networks. You, the viewer, are a part of it too.
